First tournament on clay 2019 in Sandared, Sweden. They play on a special clay called clay tech. The topspin dosen’t work that well, but the slice can become leathal!

– Great tournament overall. First some carpet warm up with Jakob Arvidsson-Ehn that worked well, then a later warm up on clay with Paul Ciorascu. First match against Olof Wiklund felt good. Played against him earlier in Malmö and felt that the game was pretty similar. Second match against Måns Dahlberg. A good junior who I haven’t played against before. Some struggle in the early games, but still a solid match. Semifinal against Anton Örnberg was a long match. Long rallies and a tough match. Örnberg has great defense which was tough to break through. Not an easy win. Final against Erik Grevelius was a bit weird match. Tough opening games and once I got through those games a bit lucky I could control the match more.
