Two weeks with one Vintertour and one Future on the schedule! Some practice in Haninge Vintertour with Alfred Hagejärd and Eric Ahrén-Moonga! No practices on homeground, but some practices with good friend Johan Claesson both in Linköping and in Danderyd! The physical status was alright during the tournaments, but I became sick after the future tournament and have not started to practice yet, but will try some physical exercises today (monday)!

– Tired victor after 11 hours of tennis during three days..!

  • If we take aside that I got sick after the tournaments it was two good weeks! It was a couple of super tough matches in the vintertour were a couple of points decided the outcome..! In the match against ATP 586 Johannus Monday it was interesting to see what was missing. Bigger serve and forehand was two major things. He also had good movement and backhand side. Really tough to play against! To be able to beat that player next time I need to improve my weapons in my serve and forehand so I can be able to strike more often during the rallies. We had some locked rallies when I could find his backhand side, but to be more able to strike a forehand after some shots would be of high value! Keep working!

Several weeks with tough competitions and a lot of work! Let us break it down! Regarding practice I’ve tried to find time enough, but some weeks had to be less because of work! I´m also trying to find new ways to win my points and develop a more offensive style of play! The physical training have been better then the tennis with no injuries and some improvements strength wise! Still need to improve a lot physically!

– Great outdoor League 3rd place National finish with Machina and Ed!n! Also great guy Matt Brewer I faced in the final when Kalmar held the District Championship!

  • A lot of matches to be analyzed! Too many to be done in a good way right now..! So I will instead try to find some points that will be needed for me to be able to turn those losses into wins! Beside a lot more of tennis training (which will be very tough to arrange) and more physical trianing, I need to find a way to win easier points with a more offensive style of play! I need to improve my weakness which is my backhand, I have done some changes for the indoor season and it works pretty well on the pracrice court – a bit of changes in the technique which is much needed! I also need to improve my strenghts which is my serving! A better percentage and a higher speed!
The grind is on! Have fun and play!

Good week, but with a tough match in Denmark and Copenhagen! After the defeat in match tie-breaker in Vejle I was ready to take revenge in Copenhagen and the next Future! Great practice week with Johan Wennerholm, Olivia Bjursten, Alex Viktorovitch, Marcus Billfeldt and Joel Nyqvist! I also had two good practices in Copenhagen with Oscar Dahlberg and Johan Claesson! The physical status is good, but I feel that I need more of everything, but mostly stamina! I need to endure longer rallies when needed!

– My well known backhand! Fierce as ever!

  • Happy to see the nice country of Denmark twice in two weeks! Tennis wise it was a tough one..! Two very close matches that ended up in losses! This time I played Vasquez-Gehrke who was a good mover and had a good forehand! He moved around a lot and played inside forehand! This time my backhand side was definitely my big problem! I couldn’t hit with enough pace cross court or transport it well enough down the line! I really need to improve it! My returning game was maybe the best this clay season, so I take that with me! On to the next week!

Interesting and tough week with 2 tournaments, were there was one Future! Solid practices with Linus Olausson, Hugo Nossler, Alex Viktorovitch, Johan Wennerholm, Edin Hibic, Oscar Dahlberg and Jack Karlsson-Wistrand! Very nice to visit Västervik and especially Vejle of Denmark! Physical status is still alright, just some minor stiffness during the week, but it’s good to go!

– Super to see Denmark and Vejle! Great construction these..!

  • First of the summertour in Västervik! I have had a tough time playing against Hallquist-Lithén, lefty that often finds a game from the baseline that is in his favor! I really need to find a game with enough pace and control in these rallies to counter that! Espacially from my backhand side!
So great to drive down to Denmark and Vejle! Nice country overall! The match was a close one! I really had my chances, but in the end Pape was the one who could find the best points when needed! I played better then in Västervik which is good, but I still need to find more offensive points were I can dictate the rallies more!
I will try a little different approach game wise! Keep going!

– 3rd place in Falkenberg 50.000 SEK and improvement made!

  • Intense two weeks with a good ending! I think I played better for each tournament with some improvement in my game in the last tournament! The loss against Wallin was nothing much to say really! He played it well and I couldn’t find my game and missed a lot..! In the second tournament in Oskarshamn the game was better! A super tough match in semis against Thour with 2 MP saved and 4.5h match! I was really out of energy in the final against Heinonen, but did the best I could..! In Falkenberg it was not an easy start to play vs Hallquist-Lithén! Lefty that handles my style of play too well! closer this time, but I need to play with even heavier balls and pace and serve even better to win those kind of matches..! Keep it going!

Hey,

Tough week with two tough tournaments..! One minor goal for the year is to be able to compete against the top 10 players in Sweden so when I signed up for two 50K National tournaments I wanted to prove that. Not the case this week and I got quite a struggle with my game at the moment, but not only misery..! glimpse of progress is still made! Practice with Linus Olausson, Alexandra Viktorovitch, Edvin Sköld and Thommy Johansson this week!

– If this shot does not work, there will be no point playing..

  • As I said, a tough week! A really close match in the first tournament against Klöv-Nilsson! I could not get as many points on the serve while my offensive game was struggling..! Pretty similar versus Carlsson-Seger where I could not maintain a good level during the match! The goal for upcoming weeks is to find better precision and focus so I can keep a higher level during the matches! Small amount of progress is till progress! Keep it going!

Salute,

Good week with a lot of training, work, physical training and a fun trip to Germany with league match that could have gone better..!
During the week I’ve practiced with Sebastian Abboud, Hugo Nossler, Linus Olausson, Alexandra Viktorovitch and Klara Milicevic! I’ve found a bit more edge in my game even though I need a lot more! But I could still sense progress which is important! The physical training was also good with a small improvement in stamina. Very small improvement, but still! During the weekend it was travel and one league match in Germany for Eintracht Frankfurt in Bundesliga for age 30+! Pretty high standard league where the best players are names like Fabio Fognini, Fernando Verdasco and Tommy Haas with many others!

– First time representing the great club Eintracht Frankfurt in Bundesliga Age 30+ and also proud to announce a new collaboration with Muskelbygget!

  • First of all a lot of fun playing the league in Germany! 6 singles and 3 doubles are played so there is many matches going on at the same time! I was not happy with my performance in either singles or the doubles, but the opponents were tough! In the singles I felt that I could have served better, but mainly keeping a more offensive stance during the rallies and kept the balls closer to the baseline! In doubles I served really well, but I had big trouble with returning which is so crucial against these kind of players! Also my anticipation in the net rallies need to be better! On to the next week!
I’m also happy to announce a new collab with Muskelbygget that will help with all sort of nutrition to get me closer to my goals! Big thanks to Jimmie Trywall and Muskelbygget!

Ovation,

Not the most impressive week in terms of practice, but I managed to find time and did a few hours with Alexandra Viktorovitch, Sebastian Abboud and Hugo Nossler! We did have the final weekend in the league and that went for sure well! Because of work I also did not all the physical training, but tried to compensate by doing more after the matches so the week was still alright in terms of physical training..!

  • A fine weekend with two wins the Swedish league! The game felt alright and it’s also good to see the me and Nossler continue to play better in doubles! A good thing for future league matches! I still need to improve my depth, dictating more rallies and also my stamina which is not the best..! On to the next week! Lesgo!

– Insane line up in this weekend League game!!

  • First let us sum up the matches of the summertour! The match vs Thour was a classic! 4.5 hours of slice and dice! I fought a lot, but couldn’t find a good offensive move this game..! My movement was fine and serving alright, but no real power in my strokes! I really need to find a more offensive position in these matches! I also felt some cramp in the thigh which was problematic in the third set. I had a match point in the second set tie-breaker, but it wasn’t enough..! The league match was better and I found a better way to move the ball around, and also our double match was good! New week with a lot of grinding! Keep it up!

We did also start up qualification in our own summertour so there was quite a lot of coaching later on the weekend! Lean back backhand in Växjö – unhealthy and too common..!

  • Really tough, but great practice in Lund! In the final against John Hallquist-Lithén it was especially tough! He´s a lefty player with good spin and power in his forehand! I usually have big problems with his style of play! He can reach a weakness in high backhands from my side! One positive thing from the match is that I really tried to play a game to win! Unfortunately I could not execute it at all really..! I need to improve my backhand side so I can keep pace and control! I also need to really find more power in my forehand so I can make more points from that side! Back home and train!
